New practice for neurofeedback opens in The Hague
Having finished an intensive study program, Lamprini Kiosse, one of our
ICC colleagues has just opened her neurofeedback practice,
BioMetrisch Centrum
(BMC) Den Haag, at Sweelinckplein 9.
Relatively new in the Netherlands, neurofeedback has been a recognized treatment in the United States, Australia, and Germany for years and is soon expected to become part of standard health care in the Netherlands.
BMC Den Haag is part of a national BMC network of expertly trained therapists in the Netherlands, all of whom work with treatment protocols that are based on scientific studies. Along with its scientific partners, BMC is continuously involved in neuroscience research and works with technical partners in the development of neurofeedback equipment and software, which meets the highest European quality standards.
Suitable for children over five years of age, teenagers, and adults, neurofeedback can be particularly beneficial for seniors. It has been proven to be effective in the following disorders:
- AD(H)D and difficulties concentrating
- Depression
- Anxiety
- Stress and burn-out
- Fatigue and problems sleeping
- Headaches and migraine
- Memory problems
- Autism and PDD-NOS
Improvements in symptoms are also possible with the following conditions:
- Problems related to brain injury
- Problems from whiplash
- Epilepsy
With her background in pedagogy, psychology, counseling, and coaching, Lamprini has a solid foundation in understanding how the brain works and develops.
Located on the historic Sweelinckplein in The Hague, the practice offers
the client comfort, privacy, and convenience. The surroundings are restful
and intimate, designed to help you feel comfortable and at ease during
your counselling or neurofeedback sessions.

Parking on the street is free during the day, and stops for tram 17
("Groot Hertoginnelaan") and buses 20 and 24 ("Banstraat") are only a
short walk away.
